About Denise Yu

Denise Yu is EC-Council’s Chief Financial Officer. In this role, she is responsible for spearheading financial strategy and leadership to drive profitable growth and sustainable transformation. Denise has direct management responsibility for all global finance functions including planning, controllership, financial operations, tax, treasury, audit, business intelligence and investor relations. She is also the executive sponsor of all DEI and ESG initiatives across the company. 

Denise is a seasoned finance, operations, and commercial executive. She is recognized as a leader in transformation and a proud champion of diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining the company, Denise most recently served as the Global Head of Monetization and Enterprise Sales Strategy at Criteo (NASDAQ: CRTO), where she played a pivotal role in driving sustainable business growth. Her previous role as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Sales Operations for the Americas at Criteo showcased her ability to orchestrate successful turnaround strategies for a $1 billion region. 

With over 20 years of experience, her extensive career also includes senior finance roles at Fortune 500 corporations such as The Interpublic Group and Thomson Reuters, along with instrumental commercial positions in two successful SaaS start-ups—InQuent Technologies, acquired by AT&T, and ValueCommerce, acquired by Yahoo! Japan. 

An alumna of the Rotman School of Management in Toronto, Denise holds an MBA, complemented by Master and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Toronto. 

Currently residing in Singapore, she enjoys a fulfilling life with her wife and young toddler. She is also an avid golfer, diver, traveller, and home chef.
